I had this same case for my iPhone 13. It was excellent and protected my iPhone through many hard drops. The new case for the iPhone 16 does not feel nearly as protective. The material that wraps around the front is thinner and slick. When I sit the phone face down on a table, it slides around. The previous case was thicker in this area, wrapped around the front better, and did not slide around at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

In the particular style i bought, the back part felt very cheap and very fragile. I have been buying Otterbox cases for years but i was taken back and saw myself buying from a different manufacturer for the 1st time in more then a decade

I’ve been protecting my iPhone over the years with the symmetry series. I love the slimness of the design while having confidence in its drop protection. The only thing I’m disappointed in is that the color in the picture on the website was a much noticeably different hue than what it looks like in person (the High Desert Marble color) .The brownish hue is a lot more of a vibrant red orange/salmon in person.

I've had Otterbox cases for my last few iterations of iPhone and I won't go with another brand anytime soon. By the time I traded in my iPhone 12 Mini, my old Otterbox case was falling apart from so many drops, but the phone itself was in pristine condition and looked brand new upon trade in. The Pro Symmetry Series Case fits well on the phone, though the material is a bit slippery so it slides around easily. I was hoping for a rubber grip like my previous case, but using the case with a phone strap works fine for me to make it easier to hold.
