After upgrading from an iPhone SE to the iPhone 16 Pro, I needed to get a new Otterbox Defender case and holster. Unfortunately, due to the design of the new iPhone, I have to make adjustments to the way that I secure the phone to the holster. With my previous case, it did not matter which direction that I placed the case in the holster. With the “indent” on the right side of the 16 Pro phone, there is only one way to securely attach the case to the holster. Nothing major but definitely a learning curve to make sure that the case doesn’t detach from the holster.

It only has one side to click it to the holster leading to unnecessary drops, the older models had clips on both sides of the case so you can quickly snap in your phone in the holster. Terrible design terrible purchase.

The design is horrible by leaving the entire camera action button exposed also weakening the case in that area. I have been a loyal otterbox customer since iPhone 3 and it seems they just gave up on the design of this case. The holster does not securely hold the phone either.
