Stopped working

After 3 years of VERY minimal use, this blower stopped working. Every battery we have was fully charged and after a few seconds of full speed it would completely stop.
I only used it a couple times a month, at most, to blow off the front porch.

Small but mighty

We bought this because we couldn’t find the larger one. I’m really impressed with how good this works. It blew the dust and debris out of the joints we were prepping to caulk. The size is perfect to keep in my truck. It won’t replace a larger unit but it will work for smaller projects.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Packs a punch for its small size

I originally purchased this unit just for cleaning my truck, when you enjoy an outdoor lifestyle its common to have to clean dirt dust and mud out of your truck. There’s all kind of areas that are hard to get dust out of, so an electric leaf blower is great to be able to clean dust out in a hurry. On my jeep ill blow down the dashboard and all areas where dust collects in order to clean it quickly. For this use the small size with the remarkable amounts of power is great.
After having it around I started to use it for cleaning out the garage and the walkways around the house. I have a gas backpack blower but just to be able to use it quickly without starting a gas-powered piece of equipment is so much easier. Run time is great and I haven’t had a job I couldn’t finish on a charge.
The fill adapters that are included are a game changer for being on the water. This is the quickest way I’ve found to be able to fill rafts and air mattresses. I didn’t even think of this use when I purchased it but I would buy it again even if that was the only thing I used it for.
The only complaint I have is I am right-handed so holding this unit off to the right side when using it as a leaf blower, Its common that the air intake will contact my pants and stop blowing. It’s easy to get used to but I feel in this configuration its more aimed for left-handed people.

weak wont stay running

Was a gift from my inlaws, got a dewalt because my other tools were dewalt. this little blower does not continue to run even with a full battery. batteries work fine with all my drills and impact drivers but will not run this little blower.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great tool for the cost

Bought this years ago as a leaf blower it’s ok compact, light weight the extensions are fantastic. Heavy applications your better stepping up to something larger. Ideally I use it to blow out my trucks and keep dust out of my shop it’s much faster and more efficient then sweeping.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not so great

I bought one in the spring of 2020. I liked it for blowing sawdust dust from my power tools. In November I used it to blow some dried leaves from my patio. I attempted to do it again the next day and it wouldn't run at all, even with s freshly charged battery. I arranged to send it to a warranty repair location. It remained there for about five weeks. When the repaired tool was returned to me it ran much slower and hotter. When I released the trigger it stopped immediately. There is something still wrong with it and it is just about useless. I absolutely don't recommend it.

Small blower

This was my Christmas gift from my daughter and family. It runs but I can't use it because the blower extension pipes won't stay on. The assembly falls off immediately. Obviously a faulty design. I hate to duct tape a brand new piece of equipment. To say that I am extremely disappointed isn't even strong enough wording. What is DeWalt recommending as a fix. The shop that I would use in Portland is closed.

Shuts off constantly

When I first purchased this product I liked the fact that it was compact and broke down to stow in my toolbox. Yet delivered enough airflow to clean a worksite. It did not take long to realize an issue with it shutting down as you try to use it on all cycles except short bursts. It has fallen short of my hopes and needs. Based on reviews I am not the only one with this problem. Buyer beware.
