Nice and lightweight, but....

Was generally happy with it, except for the air intake being on the wrong side.
Units fails to run or slowly pulses, even with a fresh battery, sometimes fancy trigger manipulate can get it to work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Powerful for the size

The issues I have encountered are with battery comparability. I have one 5ah and two 2ah batteries. With one 2ah and my 5ah battery the blower will start up for a second then turn off. With the other 2ah battery it will ruin until the battery is totally discharged. The two 2ah batteries are probably 4 yrs old the 5ah battery is a little over one year old. The batteries will all run my other tools for hours but not this blower. My 5ah battery runs my tools most of the day but will only power this blower for one second.
The older 2ah battery that works will run the blower for about 1/2 hour.
The blower it's very very powerful for its size, I was totally surprised with its power. I was able to blow leaves with ease. in fact as easy as my gas Echo blower. I was going to return the blower, but after I got it to run with one of my batteries and saw its ability I decided to keep it and purchase a new Flex battery to power it. I feel they need to upgrade the electronics so it will not be so sensitive to the battery voltage or balance or whatever the issue is, but I do know this issue could be corrected with the proper circuitry, then this blower would be a solid 5 stars.
For reason of the battery issue I would never recommend this blower to any of my friends. This is the first time I have been disappointed with my purchase of a Dewalt tool.

Perfect for a camper with slideouts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picked this up to keep in our RV during camping season. The main use is to blow off the roof and tops of the slides before pulling in the slides. This little blower packs enough punch for that and works well to clean up concrete pads and blow leaves around the campsite. Packs up small enough to fit in my Tough System storage box along with a drill, impact driver, charger and two batteries, all in the lower part of the storage box.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Shuts off constantly

When I first purchased this product I liked the fact that it was compact and broke down to stow in my toolbox. Yet delivered enough airflow to clean a worksite. It did not take long to realize an issue with it shutting down as you try to use it on all cycles except short bursts. It has fallen short of my hopes and needs. Based on reviews I am not the only one with this problem. Buyer beware.

weak wont stay running

Was a gift from my inlaws, got a dewalt because my other tools were dewalt. this little blower does not continue to run even with a full battery. batteries work fine with all my drills and impact drivers but will not run this little blower.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great blower for small jobs

I’ve had this blower for over 2 years and still runs great. The lock on function is great. Perfect for small jobs but I wouldn’t use for large leaf pickup.

Perfect and compact.

I picked this up at a local hardware store. I was actually really surprised at the power it had. I took it on two separate jobs and it performed great. I love the three speed options available on the handle. The blower is well balanced and feels light in my hand. It was very easy to assemble I like the rubber extension. Great purchase.
