I am giving this a 5 star rating even though I haven't had a chance to really test it out too much. I have tried others, and have ended up disappointed. This product, so far, has performed really well. I am looking forward to using it more and will update this rating when I can. I do wish that the charging base was a touch screen.

Amazing wireless meat thermometer!

This is the most amazing wireless meat thermometer! My previous one would frequently drop connection when the meat was being grilled on a metal grill or roasted in the oven. I roasted the thanksgiving turkey using two of the probes, one in the breast and the other in the thigh. I used the "chef's choice" settings for both and this was the juiciest and best tasting turkey ever. The temps were verified with an instant-read thermometer. I highly recommend this!

I received this days prior to Thanksgiving, so I have only used it one time, thats why I have given it a 4 star rating for now. After a few more uses, I will update my review. My initial experience was very positive. Attractive design, easy to use, initial set up is not hard, using the unit is even easier. Cooked two 18lb turkeys the day of Thanksgiving on a popular smoker, and had two probes in each bird, 1 in the thigh and 1 in the breast of each. They worked flawlessly, providing instant feedback on temp and sounded off when temp was reached. Although it is not an issue for me, the range on this unit is fantastic. So for those that may benefit from the extended range, this unit is for you.
