Unfortunately, I have had almost every type of wireless thermometer made and most fail to live up to expectations. This is not the case with the Typhur Golds. I have purchased and used both the Gold dual and quad. They have proven to work flawlessly in all situations. Most cannot handle transmissions through my 1/4 inch smoker walls. These can. Most have absolutely horrible battery life. Not these. I give both varieties a 97/100. why not 100/100? They are a little thick compared to the rfx BUT they always work where the rfx falters. Recommend 1000%

Extremely satisfied with the Typhur! I have used it about 8 times already. From chicken, fish, and steak on the grill to smoking picahna, pork ribs, brisket, dino ribs, etc everything has come out to absolute perfection!
I've done hours of research comparing different products, there's a bunch out there. The final 2 came down to the Meatr, and the Typhur. I'm so very happy I went with the Typhur! The digital display on the base unit is a great quick reference for my wife if she decides to bake something, especially when her hands are dirty and she doesnt want to touch her phone!
I've been soo impressed, I've actually ordered another for a friend. I may even buy more units for family as birthday presents.
