Used 10/25/24 cooked 2 meatloafs and a pork butt worked flawlessly for the 10hrs I used it WiFi never dropped I have a double wall insulated pellet grill was accurate for internal and ambient temperature and gave a estimate time when the food will hit the internal temperature worth every penny

So far so good, slight discrepancy between the 4 probes +/- 5 degrees.
Alarms are annoying when you have all four of them going.
Trying to keep the ID #'s white, it's a losing battle.

Only the Very Tip of Probes are safe to Heat

I bought this after having a Meater for years. Loved my Meater but thought I would explore new tech and liked the higher temperature range for the Typhur probes. However, I was EXTREMELY disappointed to find that this is only for the very tip / end of the probe. You have to have the entire probe buried in a steak (~4 inches) or you will get high temp warnings and it will shut off. That works for a roast but I bought a 4 probe set to cook individual steaks. In order to have the probe in the middle of the steak you have to cook an 8 inch or greater piece of meat in order to use these safely. Any exposed portion of the probe is only safe to ~225 degrees. This just became an expensive failed exploration of new tech! Back to the Meater!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for all cook experiences!

I bought this a month ago and finally used it to cook 2 NY Strip Steaks at the same time and the salmon after the steaks. Used three different probs to cook and the ability to cook different food at different temperatures is huge. Also to be able to do other thing and monitor the cook on my phone is a plus. The 2 NY Strip Steaks was set at 130 degrees and let to stand for 15 minutes and the temperature climbed to 135 degrees. The steaks came out perfect. The salmon was set to a temperature of 115 degrees and let to stand for 10 minutes and the climbed to 120 degrees and the salmon came out prefect, flaky.

Work better and more reliably than the thermoworks rfx kit I had. The only gripe I have, and it’s fairly minor, is how thick the probes are. Smaller pieces of meat may not work well with the girthy probes, but for anything that small the instant read would be better served anyway. Don’t hesitate these are great.
