I bought this to use for Thanksgiving turkey and boy did it save my life. I had initially only planned to use one probe in each bird, but my fresh never frozen turkeys showed up frozen almost sold. I broke them down because I didnt have time for them to thaw and then used the probes to cook the thighs and the breasts to different temps because why not take advantage of the fact that they are broken down! The themos were spot on and the predictive quality for time and temp was pretty remarkable as well. I will be recommending this product to everyone I know who is a remotely techy cook.

I ordered the Typhur Sync Gold Dual after seeing it used by Sam the Cooking Guy. The ability to track the temperature separately for the white and dark meat of the turkey allowed me to create a very delicious bird. Moist and tender everywhere. The dual temp monitoring worked great and the ability to know how much time remaining on the cooking time is great! I loved using it and will continue to use it for any roasted or smoked meat that I need to monitor cooking temps. Great product.

Possibly may need some calibration as I checked it side by side with a different thermometer and came up with 2 different numbers and possibly may have overcooked our meal if I didn’t double check it with something else

Probe 1 seems to lose connection for some reason . Other than that I would give it 5 stars but gave it 4 only because it’s new and lost connection several times during my first cook.

I'm liking the unit. I am concerned my probes register 10 degrees different. I need to look at calibration double-check procedure. I've not had the time to dive into that but it is a bit frustrating.
I'm also wondering if the system saves out a cook data file so you can bring up a cook progress as a guide the next time you do that meal. 'Something that could be viewed in a browser?
Overall all build quality seems solid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
