The Best Wireless thermometer!

I’ve had many wireless thermometers, but this one is the best. The app precise detailing cook and temperature was amazing! It showed all temps along the probe. The probe and hub felt quality and heavy. I was out at a party and was still able to keep and eye out on the brisket!

A new king in wireless probes

This is the new best hardware wireless meat probe on the market, hands-down better than all the major brands out there. The only thing is some of these older brands have had more time to develop their app and get customer feedback and add features everything that is not included in the app for Typhur that MEATER or MeatStick offer, I’m sure are probably on the way. You have incredible range from 700 feet and close to 3000 feet open air, which is absolutely bonkers and probably overkill, but I have never had a brand of probe prior to the Typhur that I did not have issues with connectivity because I’m using it in an inch thick cast aluminum Komodo grill I understand that there’s probably not a grill on the market that is more prone to interference between the probe and the base than the grill that I have, but it has caused me nightmares of issues with several different brands of probes over the last four years. The Typhur base, I can take literally anywhere in my house and I’m still connectedT
To the base. It is USB-C chargeable it can be used plugged in or standalone which a lot of the other probes I’ve tried require charging the stick with batteries or being plugged into a power source throughout use. The new Typhur dual sync gold is a upgrade on its previous model in that it has a much longer range and higher temperature ratings both on the internal temperature and the ambient temperature you can now use this for open flame searing up to 1000°. You can use it in an air fryer, a deep fryer, a sous vide, there really isn’t a cooking method that you can’t use this probe for. The battery life is incredible. They claim 24 hours but even on the old model that my friend has he’s done a 22 hour Cook and still had 50% battery life left on the probes. Also one of the probes was completely dead when I received it because the warning label blocked the Probe form making contact the base to charge so when I removed the warning label and charged it literally and under a half an hour the probe showed it was completely charged other probes. I’ve used for the past of taken up to 12 hours to charge.

Greatly exceeded expectations

I love this so much my kids are tired of hearing me talk about how amazing it is. Makes getting a perfectly cooked dinner on the table so much easier. It gives me a count down for when the food needs to come off the grill and how long to rest, so I can pull dinner at the right time, regardless of distractions, and give everyone an accurate warning of when dinner will be hitting the table. Every cook has come out perfect after 3 months of usage.

I've used this thermometer (gold duo) twice since I bought it just before Thanksgiving. 1st cook was a prime rib and the probe performed perfectly! I double checked with a stick thermometer throughout the cook to verify temps and the typhur was within 1-2 degrees! The predicted finish time was accurate as well. The standing rib roast came out perfect after a short rest when pulled from smoker. The connection on this Typhur was far superior to my old Meater +. I never lost connection during the entire cook. Setup to home wifi was simple and user interface on the base is simple. The next cook was two turkey breasts and they came out perfect as well ! Time will tell how longevity of units non replaceable internal batteries will last. So far I love my Gold Duo!

I bought my Typhur Sync Gold Duo because I wanted to prepare my Thanksgiving turkey as instructed by Thatdudecancook's video. I was not disappointed! This wireless thermometer worked just as advertised with probe 1 in the breast & probe 2 in the thigh. Each section turned out perfect. The only issue I had is that no instructions are included to operate the display unit. Once I figured out that only the middle circle & the 2 arrows were the only touch sensitive spots on the display screen and what that the circle was an "enter" key, it was easy.

I’m an avid cook and have all kinds of thermometers. Usually, I rely on an instant read thermometer. But this product takes it to the next level! It is so great to be able to, in real time, watch the interior temperature of your steak, chicken or whatever you’re cooking as it rises to your desired point. The thermometer is smart enough to predict what carryover cooking there will be to alert you to pull the meat off the fire at just the right time. And, no deal dealing with wires. The app is intuitive and very well designed. Thank you to the @Anti-Chef for recommending this!
