I bought this as a gift so haven't yet heard how it works. However, my son did a ton of research before deciding that this was the thermometer he wanted to have. It looks impressive, was very easy to get ordered and arrived quicker than it said it would.

The Typhur Sync Gold Dual is by far the best Thermometer on the planet! I have owned every one manufactured for over 30 years. None have come close to the Typhur Sync Gold Dual!

Bought this last month and couldn’t be happier. I have a friend that bought another decent brand, but the Typhur is hands down the champion.
What sold me was the freestanding base with its own crystal clear display. The unit is WiFi and Bluetooth. Why is this important? Because you can literally leave the grill - go for a drive or whatever, and it will still notify you. No more being trapped at the grill.

Probes stay charged for a loooong time - I still haven’t recharged it yet.

Honestly I haven’t screwed anything up on the grill since buying this - absolutely perfect.
I wish they had a nice hard case for it!

Exceeds Expectations

I bought this when I purchased a new Kamado sytle grill and wanted a way to keep a close eye on meat and just as importantly ambient temp so I could see when i needed to make temp adjustments. I have to say the Typhur probes and unit have performed flawlessly. Good range and the mobile software is great too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’ve got almost every brand of wireless probe meters out there. Even the new RFX by ThermoWorks. The Typhur is my favorite. The distance from the probe to the base is much better than the RFX from ThermoWorks which advertises long distance. I love the simplicity of the app. I now have every product that Typhur makes and everyone of their products I like better than any other brand out there.

I have been looking for a wireless thermometer for a while now but nothing hit all the boxes. I saw this on a you tube cooking video and I was impressed. After doing my research I was sold and I am glad I bought it. My only gripe is it isn’t touch screen. The app works great no love the Pro mode. All around great purchase
