These work great. I used them on Steak and Chicken and both times my meals were cooked to perfection. The ambient temp also helps to make sure your oven is at temp.

Solid meat thermometer

I have used the Typhur Sync Gold Dual twice now. The temps are accurate and live. The app was easy to connect and use. I am so happy with this purchase as it performs excellent to help produce wonderful meats. I highly recommend especially to new smokers like myself. PS it shipped on time and packaged very well.

Two Meals Down, More To Come

Selection – I agonized between the Meater XL Pro two probe wireless thermometer and the Typhur Sync Gold Dual. While the Meater product had thinner probes and a slightly higher ambient temperature range, the Typhur won the day with the functional display on the base station and the reliable wireless links. As a retired telecom professional, reliable wireless is a big plus.
Unboxing and Setting Up – Packaging was elegant, Apple-like, using biodegradable materials. Set-up was a breeze, taking less than 3 minutes.
Use – First use was a grilled Teriyaki pork tenderloin. The base station stayed in the kitchen while the grill was in the back yard with the metal cover closed. Never a wireless glitch. I got so mesmerized watching the app that I didn’t turn the tenderloin as soon as I should have (my bad), but the tenderloin came out lightly pink, just the way we like it.
Second use was a bone-in pork rib roast done on the rotisserie with smoke. It was a practice run for the Thanksgiving turkey we’ll cook next week. The graphing showed an ambient temperature drop, indicating the propane tank was empty. I might not have noticed that as quickly without the app. The roast came out light pink and very, very tender. I hold great hopes for Thursday’s turkey.
Summary – great product! The app was richer than I had expected based on reviews and was fun (did I say mesmerizing?) to use. Given the quality and performance of this product, I’d buy the Typhur Sous Vide Station in a flash if our 1928 kitchen had more counter space and more electrical outlets. It will, however, be part of the kitchen renovation budget when that happens.

Typhur sync gold duo

I bought this thermometer for doing my first Thanksgiving turkey on a rotisserie. So I haven’t really tested it out on the turkey (yet…). I have instant read thermometer for my regular grill, and I have wired thermometer that came with my smoker grill. But I needed something that I could use without constantly opening the grill cover. And a wired thermometer would not work on a rotisserie. I did test it out on some chicken I made in my smoker. So far I’d say the quality of the thermometer, app, and setup have been great. Temps seem really accurate and love the estimated time to reach desired temp. I’ll do a f/u once the Turkey is done on Thanksgiving. The thermometer’s ability to withstand high temperatures got me to try this.

Bought recently and put through its paces on beef, fish and poultry. Oven, skillet, airfryer and grill. Works fabulously well. Love seeing readings on all sensors. Prediction of doneness is useful. Alarm to remove and rest works extremely well. App is easy to use on phone. This thing hits all the bases. Love it.

Very Handy and wire free

I bought this product a few weeks ago and have used it several times. It works great and is super handy with the wifi connection to my app so I can be working in the other room and know when my food is ready. It's also nice to not have to fight with wires.
