Worked exactly as expected

After a week got my Dual Sync Gold. It came charged. the 2 probes were already paired to the base, so I could have used it without touching my phone. I downloaded the app and it synced with the base immediately. I've had another brand that syncing was a real pain. But I was connecting to the probes directly, never again. Pay the bit extra so that a designed box talks to probes, my phone just gets updates from box. I like this as it eliminates in capabilities between phone and probes. the charger box will always work. As for my first use. right out of the charge the probes were within 2 degrees of my house ambient temp. To me that's totally acceptable for home cooking. I like med well (just hint of rose) on my steaks (160 degrees). The Sync alarm went off 5 degrees before - as set. I used another instant probe to double check as some reviews had calibration issues. my instant and probes were again within 3 degrees. totally fine for my home cooking. Left the probes in as it rested and saw the temp rise the other 5 degrees to my liking. so the cooking was perfectly to my preferences. Left the base 10 feet from stove and no connection issues. My phone app (by wifi) connected upto 50 feet that I went to other rooms why it cooked. After removing probes they washed easy and able to remove any residue. dried them and but back in base to charge. 4 star product. (just never give ANYTHING the max)

This thermometer is fantastic. It’s incredibly accurate and works perfectly for steaks, burgers, and chicken. The range is excellent, and it's so simple to use. I love the flexibility of being able to monitor temperatures on my phone or directly on the base station. The design and functionality make it a breeze to cook with confidence every time. So glad I gambled on this ‘new’ wireless thermometer. The Sync Gold Dual is hands down the best WiFi and wireless meat thermometer out there. Two probes that measure both the meat temp and the ambient temperature inside the grill. Just what I was looking for. Easy to setup and automatically pops up on my iPhone when I turn on the base unit. The app even runs in the background and shows up on the small active app screen on the very top of the screen when viewing another app. Love this thermometer, makes me want to smoke meat every day and find different meats to experiment with. Thanks Typhur!

As a person who likes to cook, bake, smoke, and Barbeque, my new Typher Sync Gold Dual is a Godsend. The flexibility and accuracy has stepped up my game. The supporting app makes it easy to monitor my projects from afar and provides guidance that produces excellent results. The wireless networking capability extends monitoring capability beyond just bluetooth range limitations. Highly recommended!

Great product and far better than a Meater probe

I had two Meater thermometers before my Typhur, and they both died within a year and kept dropping connection more times than I care to mention!
The Typhur quality is great. I like that I can setup and monitor the cook on the unit and my phone, and the recipes on the app are just another chefs kiss.
Highly recommend this over Meater. Better quality and reliability and works great and having two probes is just a godsend.

Purchased the Typhur Sync Gold Dual last month. Used it for a BBq last weekend. worked extremely well. THe ambient temp, meat temp and projected time done were spot on. Never lost connectivity with the unit/wi-fi like my last set up. very impressed with the unit. Great product!
