Got this a few weeks ago and used it for my turkey and a prime ribs and it worked perfectly. Really nice having the separate countertop digital readout as well as the app.

Bought this to prepare our thanksgiving dinner and it made it super easy to keep and eye on the temps of our turkey and ham. The controller is very simple to use and the food turned out great.

I bought the Typhur Sync Gold Dual to help keep me from overcooking meat. The devices sync real well and the displays are nice. My first use was on a chuck roast and it worked as advertised and showed I really was overcooking. My next dish was meatloaf. Now things started to get goody.
The ambient temperature showed around 290 in a 350 degree oven. The oven could be a little off, but not that much. After the app notified my that the time remaining had been calculated it told me that I had about 40 minutes to go. Later it told me I had about 20 minutes to go. Shortly after that it said I had 132 minutes to go. I watched the rate of temp increase and calcium I had only 15 minutes to go. A few minutes later the device said I had 12 minutes to go.
So - handy way to get meat cooked to the proper temp but better keep a calculator handy if you want to know how much cooking time is left.

This is by far the best thermometer I have ever used! The fact that it can withstand such high temperatures makes it a one of a kind thermometer. The delivery was fast and easy, minimal packaging, and the product works just as intended. No complaints here.

Estimated Time fluctuates too much, but that's OK

Bought for smoking the turkey for Thanksgiving. Worked great! I used two in the turkey (one breast, one leg) while smoking, and pulled at the proper temp, but it finished cooking much faster than I had expected, so after pulling, I left the breast thermometer in place and put the bird in the oven at a very low setting to keep it warm, and continued to monitor the breast temp, adjusting the oven temp (and at one point turning it off for a bit and then back on). The turkey came out unbelievably good (even someone who didn't like turkey took leftovers!).
The second thermometer I put into a ham that we'd planned to cook in the oven while the turkey was cooking, but since we had the extra time, I did that in the smoker, too. It also turned out great.
One thing I did notice, the "estimated time" from the thermometer/app (especially when doing the ham) fluctuated quite a bit at times, but overall I have no regrets on this purchase. Hopefully it continues to work this well in the future.
