The case itself seems strong and very durable. However, the design of this case did not protect my phone when it fell off my counter. Even with the added protection of a screen protector, the glass cracked. I have had several different Otter cases over the years and have never had any damage to my iPhones. This was a first. I am extremely disappointed with this and would not recommend this case to others.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have always used OtterBox for my Iphones. So getting one for my new IPhone 16 was a no brainer. However I did not realize that for the 16 there was no longer a plastic screen protector. I liked having my phone totally encased. Also I do not like the cutout for the camera button on the right side. It is too big and leaves a portion of the IPhone exposed. With my luck I will drop my phone on that exact spot. Also there is no protection for camera lens. If you want total protection I wound not recommend this case.

The case itself is great. I don’t like the fact that I am unable to clip my phone into the clip with the screen pointing in. It just doesn’t clip in securely.

I preferred the earlier version that had a much softer Rubber outer case.That was much easier to hold when you have limited sense of touch in your fingers, which was the only reason I bought a Case,

Sturdy case, awkward flap near charging port

Great sturdy case I’ve come to e pact from OtterBox. Flap on bottom that covers the charging port should have been designed to open from the back instead of from the front. Am considering snipping it off so that daily charging is unhindered.
