Not the Protection You Expect From Defender Case

Horrible design. The area by the new photo button is not protected at all & the screen protector cracked within a month of having this case (I did NOT drop my phone nor drop anything on my phone). I've been a long time customer & have never had a problem until this design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do not buy this case. It gives no protection around the camera button at all. My glass broke after only 2 days of use. Get a case that will protect all edges of the phone. Lousy, terrible design.

Long time defender user and extremely disappointed with this purchase. Have these cases for YEARS on my previous I phones without issue. This one provided No protection on side near camera button leave it unprotected and my glass protect has shattered twice. I do not recommend this case or the life proof glass protector.

Hello! The new and improved design works seamlessly with Apple's new camera control button on the Apple iPhone 16 line of our cases. Our engineering team not only found that the new notch does not diminish the drop protection of the case, we also re-engineered these cases to be Drop+ 7x rated up from Drop+ 4x rated on previous versions.

Fits like a glove and I especially like the cover over the charge port since I charge it on MagSafe 95% of the time. However the jury is still out on how 1 inch of the phone edge where the new camera touch button is not covered by the case. Maybe OB left that open so it would be a place for dust n dirt to collect. Or maybe people w chubby fingers, gloves or salon nails wouldn’t be able to access it fully to use the scroll feature. Otherwise I love the grippy feel of the case and the buttons.
