Was Not Impressed

The wood is made of the softer, cheap wood. This is a labor intensive build. You also have dozens of screw holes you have to put in yourself. Where it's a softer wood, it's easy to break when screwing it in yourself. The screws aren't labeled or bagged separate for ease of putting together and following instructions. Which is how my husband grab the screw he thought was correct and it went down hill quickly. We weren't impressed with the bed at all. Aesthetically, it's beautiful.
I wasn't that impressed with this bed. It's more of a soft - inexpensive wood. There are dozens of screw holes you have to put in yourself. When I tell you there's a lot of assembly - there's A LOT. But that can also be a good thing because maybe it will make it last longer. It looks stunning! I just didn't care for the assembly or the material itself.
Bed is pretty okay. Supports better than the metal frame the mattress previously laid on. Looks nice. Not worth the price paid, returning feels like it would be too much of a hassle if I had to pay for it.
Assembly was mostly fine, however here are the problems I had:
1 - Strong smell of glue is present 3 weeks after assembly, not wood as I expected. 2 - There were dings and scrapes on some of the large pieces but I overlooked them. 3 - The 12 support beams that support the mattress were not evenly distributed by the stapled on rope, making screwing them into the frame wonky. 4 - Staples, from mentioned above, we're sticking out in a few places. Not fully in the wood. 5 - The screws and bolts were sent in 1 huge bag, I had to use a muffin pan to organize them for assembly.... 6 - The biggest problem with this set up is the support legs in the middle of the bed. They're attached to a metal beam by a thin threaded bolt that bends incredibly easy - thus the legs bend at this attachment point (there are rubber-pads attached to bottom for leveling purposes); kind of a poor design as one cannot assume the bed won't move even the slightest bit.
TLDR: I wouldn't recommend this bed as the quality and design is not the greatest for the money spent.
This bed far exceeded my expectations. It is absolutely beautiful, very solid and only took about an hour to build between my husband and myself. I definitely recommend it!
I love the bed! It's very sturdy and very nice looking. It did take a lot to put together but I feel it was well worth it. Delivery was much quicker than they said. I love it!!!
This bed was a good, quality piece. Solid wood; finish looks great. Basic, clean design that really compliments my son’s room. I purchased this for my teen, as he grew out of his current bed, and used it to teach him how to put furniture together. This was really great for that, because there were no actual words. Just poorly drawn pictures and two bags of hardware, not clearly marked. For the quality of the furniture, I expected more from the assembly instructions, which could use some improvements in the clarity and efficiency area. He learned a lot. Still worth the time, but it probably took twice as long as it should have.
