Beautiful bed, great quality, but damaged because of poor assembly instructions
on September 21, 2024

The bed is beautiful with a light blond color, exactly as pictured, with a sturdy feel. But be very careful while assembling!! It took hours to assemble because of terrible instructions that omit important steps. None of the hardware is labeled. We ruined the headboard by accidentally using bolts that were too long. They went all the way out the front of the headboard, splitting the finished surface and leaving holes in the front of the headboard.

Was Not Impressed

The wood is made of the softer, cheap wood. This is a labor intensive build. You also have dozens of screw holes you have to put in yourself. Where it's a softer wood, it's easy to break when screwing it in yourself. The screws aren't labeled or bagged separate for ease of putting together and following instructions. Which is how my husband grab the screw he thought was correct and it went down hill quickly. We weren't impressed with the bed at all. Aesthetically, it's beautiful.

I purchased the Haven Bed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Haven Bed along with the six drawer Haven Dresser and the two accompanying Haven Nightstands. In its entirety, the bedroom sets a wonderful tone for the entire bedroom.

Just what i was looking for

Love this bed frame. I had my eye in it for a while mainly because lower vocs and safer chemicals all around. I got a queen size pecan color bed frame with a 10 inch mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice bed! Fairly easy to put together. You do need a cordless drill, which it does not mention in tools needed.

Pretty in a Room but Not Great Quality/Assembly
on September 12, 2024

I wasn't that impressed with this bed. It's more of a soft - inexpensive wood. There are dozens of screw holes you have to put in yourself. When I tell you there's a lot of assembly - there's A LOT. But that can also be a good thing because maybe it will make it last longer. It looks stunning! I just didn't care for the assembly or the material itself.

Egh, needs improvement..

Bed is pretty okay. Supports better than the metal frame the mattress previously laid on. Looks nice.
Not worth the price paid, returning feels like it would be too much of a hassle if I had to pay for it.
Assembly was mostly fine, however here are the problems I had:
1 - Strong smell of glue is present 3 weeks after assembly, not wood as I expected.
2 - There were dings and scrapes on some of the large pieces but I overlooked them.
3 - The 12 support beams that support the mattress were not evenly distributed by the stapled on rope, making screwing them into the frame wonky.
4 - Staples, from mentioned above, we're sticking out in a few places. Not fully in the wood.
5 - The screws and bolts were sent in 1 huge bag, I had to use a muffin pan to organize them for assembly....
6 - The biggest problem with this set up is the support legs in the middle of the bed. They're attached to a metal beam by a thin threaded bolt that bends incredibly easy - thus the legs bend at this attachment point (there are rubber-pads attached to bottom for leveling purposes); kind of a poor design as one cannot assume the bed won't move even the slightest bit.
TLDR: I wouldn't recommend this bed as the quality and design is not the greatest for the money spent.
