[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These medium charcoal pencils have everything I need for sketching. They draw very smoothly and don’t leave behind specks that flake off while drawing. They are easy to sharpen as they are self sharpening, just pull the little string to expose more lead, no need for messy pencil sharpeners. And when blended correctly, they blend flawlessly and smoothly. I like the way the paper wrapping feels in my hand while sketching, it seems sturdier than traditional pencils. I honestly do not think I will ever go back to using any other type of pencil to sketch with.

I appreciate the easy peel string entwined into the pencil, it makes it easier while drawing. It holds up well for different pressures while drawing. This is a wonderful product for those looking for a great charcoal pencil for doing art drawings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids are avid drawers and doodlers. We've given them every pencil, crayon and watercolor known to man. When I busted these out, they received looks of "what are those?" which is always a good sign. They started meddling with them and doing sketches unlike any I'd seen before. It really took their drawing game to another level. What more can you ask for in a pack of pencils? Seriously, for the win.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally picked these up for my daughter because she loves Ticonderoga Charcoal pencils. However, Once I used one it was amazingly smooth and I even used it on the back of carpet because my husband and myself install flooring. He found these charcoal pencils to be smoother and does not leave chunks behind. I have went and purchased more on amazon because they have more choices with color and count size. I would recommend this brand to anyone and have actually!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like to draw, and when it comes to shading charcoal pencils are the best to smear, shade, anything like that! They are actually really great! Just wish they were a little longer, other than that I love these!
