They are easy to unwrap to sharpen the pencil. They are made of great quality. Overall they are a great value and I highly recommend these pencils for drawing.

Easy to use and beautiful results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These charcoal pencils are amazing and easy to use. The drawstring paper makes them easy to sharpen. My husband loves drawing with them . He says they are comfortable in his hand and they are very smooth drawing. Abdolutely love seeing him doodling again! Kudos on an amazing product!

Great for beginner artists

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a pack of the Prang Charcoal Pencils - Paper Wrapped- Soft - 12ct. They are easy to peel just pull the string and you get more charcoal. I like the way they draw and feel, but my daughter the art student did not like the way they blend. I think they are fine for most drawings and art but, she thought they did blend well. Our family will still draw with them though. I think they are good quality Pencils. And I am enjoying them.

Worth every penny

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These charcoal pencils are just want I needed. They’re bold and smooth. The wrapping is sometimes a little difficult to remove, but I feel It’s a lot more convenient than having to always sharpen the pencil. I’ve used these pencil for smearing, smudging, shading, wet and just good old fashion drawing. They’re definitely my favorite charcoal pencils and I always carry some with me since sharpening is not required.
They’re definitely worth every penny

It's easy to achieve a spectrum of different shades and great detail with these pencils. They work very well on
canvas or paper. I am very impressed and I highly recommend these pencils.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product impressed me by frist the packaging it was packaged like nice school penciles in a box that you can open and close again witch i know sounds not a tear once bag. Then the quilty of the charcoal pencil is great. Nice. Not easily broken. It a great product for a artest. I will be tell my art friends about this product.

Noisy when writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves to draw. I gave her these pencils to try out. She said she liked them but it made a little squeaky noise when she was writing. Maybe you have to use them a few times to avoid this. Overall, they write well and she liked them.
