Excellent product, great features

I recently received my new Brother CS5055 Computerized Sewing Machine with 60 Built in stitches and I absolutely love it. Having 60 stitch patterns to work with is just a wonderful thing. It is very easy to use and unbelievably quiet. Having the ability of free motion quilting makes this the only machine I will ever need. Thank you Brother for making such a great quality product!

This sewing machine has some smart technology as it is computerized with lcd display to change 7 function settings. Has 60 built in stitches settings that it can preform. Has a on/off switch along with a foot controller for fast sewing if your a quick diy type of person. If you are not you can controller it slower. Love the automatic reverse and reinforcement stitching. Comes with a quick set up instructions. Make sure you read all the directions. Does comes with all the hardware & needles you need for the stitching. Does not come with any threading. Great product to own for your sewing needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have just started sewing and got this machine to help me. It is very easy to use (thank goodness) and I really enjoy working with it. Again, I have just started sewing but I really like the fact that it has a screen and is computerized.

I bought this for my adult granddaughter for her first machine. She loves it and has put it to very good use. She found it easy to use and has all the features she needs. She was given an expensive machine of another brand, but she likes this one better.

It is almost impossible to see the screen display.

I hate absence of light on the screen. Light is TOO low in general. I
The machine works very well BUT it is difficult to see what's going on specially with the setting. The screen has NO LIGHT. I hate it so much.
