Dumbest robot vacuum ever!

This machine is absolutely awful! It is supposed to be ai and know what is around it. It runs into and over EVERYTHING!!!
It is almost completely useless. It runs over and gets bound up on every cord, laundry, towel, rug… literally everything. I hate it with a passion! We paid more for the Shark brand and got the dumbest robot vacuum we’ve ever had.

This thing is junk. It was great at first but now doesn’t work well and won’t vacuum my whole house without returning to dock. It also won’t remap my house anymore either. I’ve tried all of the steps online and it still will not work correctly. It’s also had a squeaky wheel since i bought it. I’ll never buy one again

Horrendous product

This is quite possibly the worst robot vacuum I have ever used. The app is poor and I’ve had to re-map my house multiple times to try to get it to go to the right rooms for cleaning. It doesn’t matter. It doesn’t go anywhere I want it to. I have it docked in the dining room (where most of our crumbs accumulate) and if I select that room for it to clean, it goes all about the house. Why. It’s is IN the room I want it to clean! The sweeping brushing often falls off and it tries to suck it up and I’ll get a cry for help from it.
I implore you to buy any other vacuum other than this one. I have gone back to using a broom and dustpan. Save your money. There are plenty of better non-name brands out there that work 100 times better than this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Absolutely horrible product. Both this off timtok. Mopping pad keeps coming off. About to run this piece of trash under my truck. Waste of money.

If you like coming home from work and wondering…

If you like coming home from work and wondering whether or not the several hundred dollar robot vacuum you purchased has done what it is designed to do and cleaned your basement, this might be the buy for you! On roughly 7/10 I come home from work only to find the robot has only completed 15-20% of its mission due to various reasons like getting and simply shutting down, or the brush roller getting stuck. I have dogs and intended to use this machine for “daily maintenance” of my floors in between proper a sweep and mop. I go around daily and pick up anything that may cause the roller to get stuck, only for it to not finish its job when I return home. A very frustrating product that has me wishing I didn’t buy into the robot vacuum fad.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fun, if a bit gimmicky

Pros:
- cleans nicely under beds
- really fun to watch
- app is fairly easy to use and it's nice to be able to tell Sharkira to go clean a specific room
- self-emptying dock is really neat and can hold a bunch of junk

Cons:
- can't map multiple floors of the house; and if there's a step down on one of the floors, won't be able to map across that step
- battery life isn't the best

Game changing product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having always purchased bagless vacuums with high suction like the shark I currently have, I appreciate the fact that this shark robot empties itself out after each job.
It has gotten ‘stuck’ only once and truly gets things done while I’m doing other things. The app is amazing by allowing me to schedule room cleanings and execute spot cleanings whenever I want. My partner and I are continually amazed by our ‘Rosie’. It navigates through pet toys, carpets, chairs that weren’t mapped, etc.
Shark has done it again, I cannot say enough good things about it.
Pros: Everyone should have one, time-saver, does a decent job consistently!!
Cons: pet hair can get clogged at the docking station, remember to clean frequently if you have more than a cat or dog. The filter I still haven’t figured out, seems that it may be the weak link…. But so far so good.

Amazing vacuum and functionality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Shark Matrix Robot Vacuum has amazing functionality and suction power.
My wife loves vacuums and has every imaginable size and shape. We have several other Shark products that she used to use frequently, including a Shark Wandvac. She used to run her vacuums specifically for different jobs around the house until we got this Shark Robot.
At first we were skeptical that it would do it's job as promised, but after a good battery charge, an easy setup and the robot mapping the areas (and marking the no go zones) we realized what great suction power and convenience this robot offers.
My wife is an interior designer and we are remodeling the kitchen and there have been lots of dust in the house for a couple of weeks. We were worried the robot wouldn't be able to keep up with the dust. However this Shark Matrix is still doing it's job as if nothing (including the dust and hair from our cats).
The best part is that it keeps finding it's base and we can forget about it for several weeks.
This is our first vacuum robot, but not our first Shark product and definitely not our last one. We are already thinking about getting another one for the basement.
I would recommend this to a friend!
