This beats a stick vacuum...

Just what I was looking for. This lightweight upright cordless replaced a stick vacuum which worked well but lacked an important upright feature. The majority of the stick vacuums won't stand on their own which is a downside to me. I have this stored just off my kitchen ready to tackle any trails left after making a snack or meal throughout the day. Not having to lug out the heavyweight vacuum for the small jobs makes the day much better. Love the features and the simplicity of this vacuum. Recommend.

Support lacks timliness.

The vac worked except for the charge indicator lights. Getting Shark support to help me finish warranty claim has been disappointing. I'd give the vac a 4 support 0

Living on past glory?

After wearing out a older style cordless that was exceptional in every way we decided to buy another cordless. I believe this is the one, however last years model. If I was Shark Id be embarrased to sell this compared to the older versions. Weak, short lived, cheaply made toy of a Vac. Pretty sad.

Batter runs out fast

My home is 900 sf, I can only vacuum half at a time because the battery runs out, I have carpet, and looks like the carpet setting uses much more battery power cause it just last 30 minutes! Then it takes hours to recharge. The performance of the vacuum itself is great. I would buy, just need longer battery life. Is very lightweight and easy to empty the filter

Lightweight, Powerful and Easy to Use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark Freestyle Max Cordless SV2002 has completely surprised me in the best way. For a cordless vacuum, it has impressive suction power — it picks up pet hair, crumbs, and everyday messes with no problem. I love how lightweight it is, making it super easy to grab for quick cleanups around the house without feeling like I’m lugging around a full-size machine.
The swivel steering makes it really maneuverable, and it gets under furniture and around tight spaces with almost no effort. The battery life is solid for everyday use, and I appreciate that the dust cup is easy to empty and clean.
This has become my go-to vacuum for daily touch-ups. If you want something cordless, lightweight, and surprisingly strong, the Freestyle Max is a great option and totally worth it.

Good suction

I just bought this and love everything except the short amount of time the charge lasts. Did my living room and boom it died when al.ost done. This is my second Shark vacuum like this. My other was several years old, but could vacuum longer.

Best upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vacuum we had at work was awful so I took it upon myself to bring the Shark vacuum to replace it. I no longer have to fight the rugs to clean them. It's so much quieter than the last one we had. The dust container is the perfect size for the rugs we have in the office and the option to use it on the flooring with no damage.
