[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far the unit has been doing great but there are a few odd things you should know before you buy. 1.) There is not infinite control, its just increments of 0.5 up to 10. 2.) There is a long 1-2 second delay from when you stop turning the knob to when the unit actually adjusts the power. If you turn from 10 down to 3.5 for example, it will take you about a second to get it adjusted to what you want, then it takes another 2 seconds before the unit responds for a total of 3 seconds to respond to a temp change. Touch screen units are way faster than this. 3.) I haven't been able to test any other induction cooktops but this one needs a really heavy pan to put out full power. The biggest burner is limited to 1900 watts or so for a carbon steel pan or a laminated pan. I can only get more power with a heavy thick cast iron pan. 4.) My biggest burner more or less flat-lines from the 2 to 5 setting.
Here is the output in watts for each setting on a cast iron skillet (measured at my electrical panel): Low - 150 watts (intermittent pulses) 1.5 - 250 watts (intermittent pulses) 2.0 - 350 watts (intermittent pulses) 2.5 - 380 watts 3.0 - 380 watts 3.5 - 380 watts 4.0 - 380 watts 4.5 - 385 watts 5.0 - 400 watts 5.5 - 500 watts 6.0 - 640 watts 6.5 - 810 watts 7.0 - 940 watts 7.5 - 1075 watts 8.0 - 1180 watts 8.5 - 1325 watts 9.0 - 1480 watts Hi - 2513 watts PowerBoost - 3750 watts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am blind and this unit is perfect for me. I wanted an induction cooktop with knobs and this was one of the few option available. I use bump dots so I know which buurner and temp I want, cannot do that with a toucuhpad. The bridge works great for my griddle to cook pankcake and baon. Only complaint, I wish the smallest burner was slightly larger. The induction is so much safer than the radiant. I have had this for almoth a month and love it. A little expensive, but well worth the money, I am hoping to get their matching oven when I have the funds to do so.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are new to induction cooking and we love it! It is fast, efficient and easy. In over 50 years of marriage, we’ve used electric and gas ranges. Induction is by far the best.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Biggest plus is how quickly water boils on this cooktop (we upgraded from a standard coil electric cooktop), but we have been extremely impressed with the range of cooking temperatures, efficiency of the bridging element for larger cookware, and the ease of cleaning the surface. It pairs beautifully with a telescopic downdraft exhaust fan system.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the unit with traditional knobs. Works great with induction cookware and especially cast iron.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The induction cooktop works as expected. Precise temperature control. Of course, there is a learning curve but once you get it, the reproducibility is awesome. Like the knobs instead of a touch screen.
This unit replaces a Bosch induction cooktop that went haywire. After installation it worked for a while then started beeping and displaying error code 020 that wasn’t in the manual. Called an electrician to review the wiring and power - everything is as it should be. Still wrestling with the problem.
