Great performance for a great price

Like most people, I got this one because it had physical knobs - I tried a bunch of luxury brand induction cooktops with touch controls in a physical store, and all of them had either trouble detecting my touch input or the pan itself. Fed up with low-sensitivity touch controls, I opted for this much cheaper cooktop, and I couldn't be happier. The knobs are intuitive, the display is simple and functional, and the cooktop is powerful and responsive.
Two things to note, that I didn't see much in other reviews:
- The knobs don't appear to be dishwasher safe. They look similar to my previous knobs, the inner sheath of which rusted when run through the dishwasher.
- The griddle function is unfortunately not as high performing as the rest of the cooktop - I noticed that my griddle was hot in the center, but cool towards the edges, and the difference was quite noticeable.

Love cooking again!

A Wonderful Induction Cooktop with Buttons!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this cooktop for about three weeks. We had an induction range before and hoped this Frigidaire would offer the same service. Yes! It is excellent. Obviously the feature that was most important to us was induction ranges ability to heat and dissipate heat rapidly similar to how a gas range can be easily controlled for more or less heat instantly. This was one of the few induction ranges that offered "button" or knob control rather than flat surface controls. It is wonderful. A feature that we were not seeking but what it has is the chance to "couple" two heat pads to make one long heat surface something like a long grill. With a long grill (always induction ready), we can once again prepare pancakes, sausage, eggs, etc. very compactly and easily. Hope this helps.

Nice looking EXPENSIVE PIECE OF CRAP, KEEPS CODING CO14, EXPENSIVE PARTS! bought it because of the knobs, thought push button "touch screen" would create problems when cleaning the cooktop, EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED
