Huge upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this watch! It's a huge upgrade from my prior Watch 4. The health features are so beneficial. I use it to track my steps and sleep. The ekg and heart rate sensors are awesome, and I used them to show a trend in my heart rate to my cardiologist. I do miss a rotating bevel, but it's well worth the tradeoff for all the new features and Galaxy AI!

Now that I have a new Samsung galaxy s25, I'm learning all the Galaxy AI features which just makes it even better.

As a bonus, it also helps track sleep, exercise, heart rate, body composition, etc.. Can't forget to mention the useful tap to pay and how quick and easy it is to use because of the shortcut.

Love this thing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The watch itself is wonderful. I use it every day for various things. I need to charge it for maybe a half hour every day, but that's easy enough. If I'm using battery saver, it's every other day.
My only complaint would be the watch band that came with it. It seems I am highly allergic to it, so I needed to buy one elsewhere. Apparently that's a common problem.

Much improved version of the Classic watch!

So I have had this new watch for a about a month now, and I can say it's been a nice upgrade. I traded in a Watch 4 Classic 46mm LTE for this Watch 6 Classic 47mm and I'm more than satisfied. The relative subtle differences are actually quite large.
1st - The smaller bezel has made the watch gain a huge amount or screen real estate while retaining the classic bezel experience which I can say is epic. The screen itself is much brighter, which is now readable in direct sunlight no problem, and has a higher DPI so things are even more thrilling to view.
2nd) New OS is liquid smooth, and the small upgrade in ram/processor speed has complimented this new OS. It's stable, fast and just works!
3rd) The new software has much better battery management complimenting the new bigger battery. The first week or so it was still learning my habits so the life of the battery was barely making it through an entire day. Now that the learning curve has been completed, the battery life is much more improved. So much so, I'm now impressed. It lasts through an entire day and night, before having to get a recharge. The new charger easily charges this watch almost twice as fast as my Classic 4 so it's back on my wrist in no time.

Best watch ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I have been exclusively Samsung consumers for over a decade now. I traded my 44mm galaxy watch 4 lte in for the 47mm galaxy watch 6 classic lte and I am not disappointed. I am a disabled veteran and have incurable cancer. The health data in able to capture with the watch help me to keep a constant eye on many of my critical health numbers, including keeping me aware of my sleep, activity, heart rate, water intake, stress level, etc. I feel like anyone who doesn't have this incredible means of taking their will being is denying themselves insight not easily tracked otherwise. I wish there were a way to somehow check blood pressure; maybe a watch band or even a seperate bluetooth band that could read blood pressure. THAT would be an awesome addition. Just some food for thought.
I am continually awaiting the next innovation from Samsung. My dream is to update everything in my home to Samsung, including TVs, kitchen and laundry room appliances, computers, and any other items that become available. All I need is for someone to contact my wife and convince her to give me permission. LOL!

Horrendous battery life, save your money.

Watch barely lasts a day, even with always on display amd other settings turned off. I've only had it a couple weeks and multiple times now I've gone to bed with >50% battery and woken up with the watch battery dead/drained. It's a good product otherwise but who cares when the battery life is so awful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great software, not so good hardware

Got this to upgrade my watch5, had galaxy wear devices since the watch 3 and as an avid cyclist had the HR, GPS and recovery metrics always present when using this biometric measure device.
This iteration, or at least the one I've got, was wildly innacurate on HR and recovery (sleep) cycles.
Where my watch5 and a whoop device I own since the start of this year where marginally close the watch6 did not get close to either.

As fitness and tracking of biometric KPIs is my main use I'm disappointed by the lackluster performance and nonchalant brand attitude of the brand for what could be the core fan base of this line.
All other features do as they promise, play music, pay, read messages and the software is intuitive and easy to get. If that's your main use get one.
So I'm sticking to my wear5 for the time being even when I'm truly missing the watch6 dial crown.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
