I purchased during Black Friday 2025. I liked it so much I came back and bought one for my daughter home. She has 3 dogs and my grandson has allergies also. What a fantastic gift to give.

Its OK for certain uses

I got this a few weeks ago to help with issues we have with some smoke from our pellet stove on startup or if food gets over cooked to preclude the smoke alarms going off.. It seems to be ok but we still have a smell so it doesnt get all smells out of air.. Maybe it will work better with allergens or pet hair but for smoke smells of pretty much any type its not that great to us.We cant use automatic because it never speeds up enough to do any good. It always seems to show good air quality, so we have to use manual 95% of the time. So by using manual on higher speeds, we will have to replace the filter far sooner than claimed on videos or manuals. Be aware of that.

Does not work!

Purchased 2. I originally placed one upstairs and one downstairs living area. However they both were reading at 60%. So I placed both downstairs which is approximately 1200sqft ( which one purifier should work for) opposite ends of the house. One in kitchen one in living room. One is constantly at 70% and the other 64%. It has not reached 100% one time in 24 hours. On auto mode running at max. I don’t know if I got defective ones or what is going on but this is a giant waste of money. I have one small dog. I cooked bacon last night around 7pm and I can still smell the lingering smell so this purifier did absolutely nothing. And my allergies are still off the charts even with both units running on the same floor. I have auto immune diseases and immune compromised and so is my young son. Having purifiers that work is essential for our well being. I was enticed with the never change filter with hopes of saving some money on filter replacements of our previous purifiers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you like public bathroom spray,this is for you!

The smell of the odor neutralizer cartridge is disgusting. It literally smells like a public bathroom urinal cake. The fact that they don’t offer different scents is insane. I specifically purchased this for this feature so I’m returning it.

5 year filter, more like less than a year.

Worked great for 6 months, filter is supposed to last 5 years and I cleaned the outside filters regularly and both are already not working because I need new filters for my big one and the small one I got for my bedroom.

To help maximize your air purifier’s performance and extend filter life, Shark recommends keeping the unit in AUTO mode. Once 100% clean air is maintained for 10 minutes in AUTO mode, the purifier will automatically enter ECO mode to further optimize filter efficiency and longevity.
Additionally, to help extend the life of the HEPA filter, we recommend reorienting it every three months. Simply remove the HEPA filter, turn it upside down, and reinsert it so the side that was previously on top is now on the bottom. This helps evenly distribute captured particles throughout the filter and supports longer‑lasting performance.
