Got this as a gift and it makes life simple, from making simple task like protein shake / smoothie. I used to use this item almost every morning for breakfast but then after 3weeks-4weeks i notice that it will 1 either not turn on or 2 not charge. Still unsure what it is because 50% of the time it simple wont work. I have videos of the item blinking as if its taking a charge and it wont turn on even if left over night.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great portability but needs more power for frozen

My Ninja Max is perfect for 1 serving. The smoothie canc mix liquid fruit yogurt but frozen frit and crushed ice is a challenge for a smoothie. Power and blade size is not big or strong enough. I prefer my older ninja smoothie blender. Love the portability of this blender.

Nice but not really portable

I received this as a replacement for the smaller version as it has been discontinued. I like the larger size of this version and the ability to select different power settings. Also the color options are great.
My main disappointment in this model is that it requires an outlet to charge the battery and the unit will only work with the battery ie. You cant use wall power. the discontinued model charged via USB making it truly portable. Now I basically have a tiny blender that i need a standard outlet to charge and I can't use it as a countertop blender without a full battery.
Overall I am impressed with ninja products this one just missed the mark abit as a portable blender
I would recommend this to a friend!

Battery Life Sucks!

The charge does not hold at all. I charged it fully before use, and it just ran out of juice in the middle of blending, so I was stuck with a half-blended smoothie. I'm returning it for sure!

I bought this product to help me maintain my diet with fresh berries with smoothies every day at work. it is the best solution i have seen yet as it allows me to keep the smoothie fresh until i am about to drink it. I put all the ingredients in and take it to work. when i wish to drink the smoothie, the Ninja Blast blends and its perfect.
