Read experience before hands on.

I bought this blender two days ago. I tried out the blender with 8 ounces of water and a full container of frozen fruit. Strawberries bananas blueberries. First I push the button. Nothing happened. This was on a full charge. I shook the container. Nothing happened again. Now I removed the container from the base. I took a straw and tried to move around some of the pieces of fruit at the bottom. I started the blender once again now it started to work. But it still did not pull down the rest of the fruit. I had to shake this container and blender and move it in different directions to try to get it to blend everything. Extremely difficult. I did add more water and repeated the process several times this did work. But I wanted to add my protein powder next, I tried to do that when I pushed the button again. I received three orange lights which indicates overheating. If this overheats, you have to wait an hour for it to cool down.So I had to try to shake everything else in the container and finish because I did not want everything that I mixed to go to waste. I will try this one more time with less ingredients and I will see what happens. Maybe the blade on this unit are just not sharp enough and the initial torque on this machine needs to be increased.

Finally! Frozen Fruit Conquered!

Two blends with rock hard, frozen fruit chunks so far. Grinds right through them. This is my 5th personal blender, which I use daily. It is the first one that can blend frozen fruit, so I don’t need ice. And, I can put the whole 11oz Premier Protein shake and frozen fruit, since I don’t need ice. If this things lasts, you have a winner!!!

I Love This Blender

I love this Ninja - I call it "MY Personal Blender" mostly because - I use it everyday and love how it does everything i want. My only issue - why I rated 4 and not 5 + is that it is louder than the previous blender. I own 5 different Ninja blenders- from the full blender down- but they were all very loud. I just wish this was quieter - that was actually my reason for buying it in the first place. But I love it and just cover my ears!

Over heating

I can only make one smoothie at a time, because it overheats. After I made the first smoothie I had to wait almost 2 hours before it finally cooled down to make myself a smoothie. I’ve never had a problem with a ninja product until this one. I am not sure if it’s just a lemon or if all of them or this way. I would like to return it. I’m just not sure how to go about returning it.

Lasted 7 months and now a door stop

Lasted 7 months and now dead! Like other reviews state works at times before, never consistent on run times. Sometimes long, sometimes short, but now completely dead. When fully charged you get maybe 6-8 uses.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

6 months later I have a useless base unit

I do not recommend. Says it’s dishwasher safe. Washed container in dishwasher one time and the cup is warped. Contacted company and was told it’s not under manufacturer warranty. So after 6 months I have a useless base unit. I suggest trying nurtibullet flex which is also cheaper.

I love this blender, easy to use , it literally makes thick smoothies, simple blended drinks and crushes ice with no issue. I love that it just snaps on and off to transport as a cup and easy cleaning ...definitely recommend

Waste of Money

I love shark/ninja products and never had an issue but not this time. Absolutely the worst product I have ever bought. I was so disappointed. Takes extremely long to charge and only charges for a single use. I bought 6mos ago used 2-3 times. I may as well have just tossed the money out the window.
