I’ve had my set of Cole & Mason salt and pepper mills for well over 10 years and they are still going strong. My son just recently married and he and my new daughter in law were over for dinner the other night. She called me later and asked what brand my salt and pepper grinders were because my son called them “the pinnacle of pepper mills”. I just bought them a set of their own. They really are the best in show.
These look even better than I imagined they would. Very substantial and the quality seems excellent. I like the way the tops just pull off for easy refilling. Would definitely recommend purchasing as a gift as they are beautifully boxed. No incentive was offered for this review.
I really like the set. The pepper mill is easy to use and the quantity of pepper you get with each turn is a lot. It’s so easy to pepper and steaks & burgers now. The salt mill is less useful but makes for a nice table setting.
The salt and pepper mill seem to be very high quality and have a precision feel when turned. The pepper mill dispenses a good quantity, exactly what I was looking for.
Love the look, bought these as a present. We have a different set with a clear body ( which I think I prefer as you can see how full it is). Love the ease of adjusting the grind fine/coarseness.
These are a wonderful set of nicely designed salt and pepper grinders that look and feel like a premium product from the minute you lay your hands on them. They feel solid without feeling too heavy, even when full, and the overall build quality is very reassuring as they feel good in the hand and look lovely on the table. The stainless-steel bezels feel solid and seem to be able to handle the knocks of daily use by a large family and still manage to look like new. No more hiding away the grinders when people come for dinner!
The design is solid and overall it's a good product although I've only had it for 3 weeks._x000D_ _x000D_ The only problem is that the top tends to come off if you grab the shaker by the top and it's full. Overtime it will probably get worse. It could also use some ergonomic design for a better grip. Too slippery especially while cooking.
