Best Grinders EVER!

The grinding of the salt and pepper are absolutely FLAWLESS. One thing you need to know: when switching to different grinding modes, I HIGHLY advise that you turn the grinder upside down and turn the knob in a counterclockwise direction. This enables the grinder to clear out any particulate matter whereby you can EASILY switch from fine to coarse and anything in between without excessive force. I have had MANY salt and pepper mills over the years, both manual and electric which all have failed over time. Hands-down, this is the absolute BEST on the market. Pricey??? Ya gets what ya pay fow! Highly recommended!!!

Excellent Grinders

I bought these grinders based on the recommendations of Americas Test Kitchen and I am glad I did. These grinders are excellent. To the reviewers complaining about the grinders leaving a lot of excess salt and pepper after grinding and the grind adjusters being hard to adjust, they have not taken the time to consider how the mechanism works. In both cases, turning the knobs on the grinders in the opposite direction of grinding releases most of the excess salt and pepper and the reverse motion also unloads the tension from the grind mechanism which will then allow for easy adjustment of the grind setting.
I would recommend this to a friend!

These are a wonderful set of nicely designed salt and pepper grinders that look and feel like a premium product from the minute you lay your hands on them. They feel solid without feeling too heavy, even when full, and the overall build quality is very reassuring as they feel good in the hand and look lovely on the table. The stainless-steel bezels feel solid and seem to be able to handle the knocks of daily use by a large family and still manage to look like new. No more hiding away the grinders when people come for dinner!

excellent salt and pepper grinders

These grinders look great and work great, as well. They feel substantial in a very good way in my hands. I like that they each have several choices of coarseness, easily adjustable. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that the salt shaker does leave a bit of salt wherever it sits. I try to remember to tap the base after use, to drop any extra, and that seems to help. Highly recommend this product.

Salt and Pepper grinder

These salt and pepper grinders are beautiful and I love how they look. The issue I had was the top does not screw on. They are kind of tight but not tight enough. When I picked up the pepper by the top the bottom fell and spilled peppercorns everywhere. Since we have a busy kitchen with kids this just was not going to work for us so I had to return them.

This salt and pepper set is gorgeous The set itself is sent in a nice box that is perfect for gifting or treating yourself. The stainless steel looks beautiful with the glass. This is such a high-quality set. I was wanting something to replace my old, outdated plastic set that I've had entirely way too long. These were exactly what I was looking for. The grinders are sent loaded with nice sea salt and peppercorns so you can use them right out of the box. They are extremely easy to use and while I tend to have a hard time with some mills, these could not be easier to twist. They can adjust to suit however fine or course you would like the spices. Refilling is a breeze. These really elevated my dining room table. I am still wowed by how nice they are. Absolutely worth the splurge. They are wonderful.

I’ve had my set of Cole & Mason salt and pepper mills for well over 10 years and they are still going strong. My son just recently married and he and my new daughter in law were over for dinner the other night. She called me later and asked what brand my salt and pepper grinders were because my son called them “the pinnacle of pepper mills”. I just bought them a set of their own. They really are the best in show.

I have been in search for a grinder set that delivers. The challenge I have is that 99% of grinders spit out a few specs of pepper with every turn. I then find myself turning the grinder 50 times to actually get the amount of pepper I want in the dish I am making. This grinder throws out a tremendous amount of pepper with each turn. I was actually shocked by how much pepper comes out. I know this set it a bit more expensive than others out there but worth every penny.
