Beautiful but hard to twist!

I loved the look and the beautiful packaging. But really hard to twist to get the salt and pepper out. You need to have man hands to grind them. Over all excellent quality and design! Maybe I'm doing something wrong too?

This salt grinder and pepper grinder set is absolutely wonderful! Have purchased multiples because salts and peppers from around the world can be so varied. Plan to use as gifts for the holidays... Quite special; the boxed set is beautifully packaged.

Nothing adds to a great meal more than freshly ground pepper and salt, and these grinders not only do their job wonderfully, they add beauty and class to your dining table.
They come in beautiful packaging you will be proud to gift (if you don't decide to keep them for yourself). They come with a starter supply of coarse salt and black pepper, making them even more ideal as a wedding or housewarming gift.
The grinders themselves have a really nice heft, and fit in my hand perfectly and comfortably. The copper finish is en pointe for a more natural, organic look on your table and does not fingerprint smudge, and it does wipe clean easily.
You can adjust the grind of each easily from fine to coarse, and the actual grinding action feels smooth and solid. They are easy to use. I love adding a grind of coarse sea salt to the tops of chocolate chip cookies before baking, and coarse pepper to salads and meats.
I recommend these highly.

The Cole & Mason Derwent Gift Set in copper finish is excellent! The pieces are beautiful and really dress up my countertop and are within easy reach. They are sturdy and hold a generous amount of salt and pepper. Easy to dispense and I feel like they will hold up very well. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great quality product that is useful and decorative.

I bought this a month ago and am so impressed with the quality of the salt and pepper grinders. They came beautifully boxed. They are very easy to use and refill. They look great on my counter. I love the copper color of the metal.

I really love the Cole & Mason Derwent Copper Salt & Pepper mill set. It is quality made and very easy to use. Refilling the shaker is very easy as well. This set blends in very well with my kitchen decor and is supper cute. So far, I have not experienced any issues with grinding. I am really enjoying using this set and recommend it.
