We love this doorbell camera. Reasonable price, don't have to pay a monthly fee to monitor, great picture, the ability to talk through it. I've used it to yell at my kids to answer their phone when I was away!

Great doorbell video camera

We are so far testing it and enjoying. It’s lacking instant notification live view and instant notification. The notification arrives when subject leaves from the door. I noticed twice, the doorbell missed recording when human spotted near the door. I rebooted the doorbell and it worked. Please improve the instant notification live view. I would like to purchase the wifi door chime but your site doesn’t allow for purchase.

I had been researching for a while and decided to purchase a lorex doorbell, WHAT A GREAT DECISION. Notifications are fast and extremely reliable. I had the doorbell for around 3 weeks and have NOT ever received a false notification. It replaced a skybell which constantly sent me notifications at all times day and night. The fact that I can record and review everything without having to pay extra is amazing it was very easy to install. The app works great. I have 0 complaints at all. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY DOORBELL!!

Good doorbell, some requirements not made

This doorbell works great once you have it working. A few things the manual does not specify. The doorbell needs a chime kit to function, and the chime helps regulate power. The doorbell has a built in diode so an extra one is not needed. The doorbell will require a 30VA+ transformer and just go ahead and get a 24V one.

Finally installed 2 video doorbell cameras (Xmas present) & got them online today (Jan 20). One install went great; other was a problem until I reset the doorbell, which required removing device to push reset button :(. Instructions are very small print, as are QR codes (my S10e phone couldn't read them). Included everything, but no technical explanation of the "Chime Kit". 2K picture quality is excellent! Replaced RING doorbell that required a yearly fee:(. Included angle spacers, wire extensions, etc. which worked out nicely. App includes Wi-Fi signal strength feature, which was helpful (had to relocate cable router access point for farthest doorbell signal). It took 2 calls to Lorex Tech Support, but hopefully worth it. Time will tell.

This doorbell looks good and works flawlessly! Iv'e had other doorbell cams and this one beats everyone of them. Setting up zones was a breeze and works every time. No frustration with this...it just works!! A++ again from Lorex!!

Replaced my previous video doorbell because the alerts were slow to come in and sometimes people were just missed, no alert at all. Nothing like that so far with this doorbell. Very happy with it.
