Love the device but the motion detection is crazy. You can decide on person detection vs motion detection. While i want to save on memory using only person detection. Motion detection detection detects everything even at lowest setting which gets to annoying. Just wish the person detection could be adjusted

Choppy Video, Keep getting a message ' error has occurred' When the door bell rings almost all the time I am not able to answer the person on the door.
Also when viewing events, I get the message 'No Recordings' and the recordings appear after a delayed period of time.
Not a good experience.

Check your transformer

I purchased the 2K wired system. Install was a little tricky but worked well. After a few days one of my cameras dropped offline. Had an electrician check out the original 16V-24V transformer and it was too hot to handle. Installed a NEW 24V transformer and now works great. Recommendation: if your property is over 20 yrs old, the original 16V-24V transformer may not be able to handle this properly. Highly recommend the 2K wired system.

Not a Good System

We have the doorbell and several cameras. Just realized my husband cannot sign in to see camera when I'm signed in on my phone - which is utterly ridiculous. We previously had Ring and changed when moving to a different area to try new system-big mistake. We are ordering 2 more cameras but will be another system because lorex is not very good. Will more than likely trash the lorex unit because if the occupants in the house can't see the camera on their separate devices, that's just stupid. People are not always in the same place and the same time!!

I bought this security system to install during my home remodeling project, it is going to take several months to complete this process and so I have not been able to use my system yet, but I bought lorex because I have been happy with their quality in the past, the technology that they use today, and all that I have read about these systems, and I am looking forward to powering up my new security system as soon as I can, thank you very much for your interest in my satisfaction, I know I am going to love it once I get everything done, I am also pairing my system with alexa to keep my home safe.

It would not connect to the Internet so I sent it back. I spent two hours on the phone with your tech-support. I purchased one a year before and it worked good
