Best bang for your buck!

Home cameras and video doorbells are a must in this day and age. 99% of the time they are used for normal day to day activity like seeing the mail delivered. But if something does happen criminally, you want as much help as you can get. I’ve used multiple Lorex systems and the doorbell component has been a great addition.

Motion detection works very good. You can see motion detection work at the doorbell when lights come on and led colors change. Alerts sometimes don't make it to your phone until after the person at the door has gone away.

Working good so far. I find the push notifications is a little slow. Takes about 15-20 seconds to get notify. Still can’t get the chime to connect to doorbell camera. Waiting on Lorex for a support and solution.

Competent Doorbell

The Lorex 2k WiFi doorbell is a competent doorbell with minor quirks. This doorbell replaces a Skybell doorbell that had free video storage and that is what is nice about this door bell offering 32gb of internal storage on a mini SD card. The video is clear as well as voice communication. The set up was easy. My only gripe is the inability to monitor the doorbell with two devices say an iPad or iPhone. This is definitely a flaw as you must log out of one device and log in to the other. I’ll be honest it’s annoying especially if you do not have your phone or iPad near by or forget to log in and log out. Hopefully Lorex will have a fix for this. Otherwise this is a very good doorbell camera.

This replaced my existing doorbell and was easy to install. Instructions were great.
Both my wife and I get alerts to our phone when someone rings the bell or even if just motion by the door.
Happy we purchased.
