I have three Lorex doorbell , at first white was only available then black came out now you have 4 k in black and white. I give my other doorbells to family and friends and Install the product for them, promotion Lorex products ( no monthly fees

The product seems to be mostly like others on the market. My disappointment comes from lack of features. You can’t delete or clean the micro as card without removing it from the doorbell. The software (Lorex cloud) hasn’t been updated since 2019. There is no software for a windows pc that works with the doorbell camera. So if you want to see your camera on the pc, you might want to reconsider this doorbell. There are no instructions to wire up two doorbells to one transformer. I was told by the overseas support team it could not be done. I have done this successfully without help from Lorex. I have only had the product for about a month, so I can’t say if it will hold up. Fingers crossed.

2k Doorbell

Image is ok at less than 15ft. Motion replay seems to speed up and slow down video, very annoying, maybe due to network connection though. Loudspeaker is barely audible in highest setting.

Stop Removing My Review

I believe there is a known manufacturing defect in Lorex 2k doorbell. When pressed and attached to wired electric chime the device shorts itself out and I believe it restarts. This defeats purpose of this doorbell as it cannot be used appropriately. When electric doorbell chime is disabled the device does not short, and is usable, however inside my home the doorbell doesn’t ring. I have two doorbells and each has this same problem. I believe I should be entitled to free wireless chime system or upgrade to newly released doorbell x 2 unless the new doorbell has the same feature.
