Great Video but No Facial Recognition

Video and audio quality is very good, and so is response time. Wished it had facial recognition and other abilities such as recognizing a package was being delivered or picked up as Google Nest does. Overall, happy with the results.

Great Doorbell, but....

The PRO's:
This is a great doorbell with awesome features and that is why I "upgraded" from a Ring Doorbell Pro to this. The image quality is top notch and the light features are great. I also love that it comes up on my monitor with my other cameras.
Now for the CON's:
The thing that disappoints me with lorex is how slow everything is in comparison to other doorbells / cameras. Half the time that I get a notification of someone at my door, they're already gone before the live feed loads. With ring, that was never an issue. Hopefully there will be a software update in the near future that can solve this or I may go back to ring.

Great doorbell.

I’ve tried a couple of different doorbells to include Ring and Logitech. I became fed up with Ring and the push for a monthly subscription fee. I initially liked Logitech, but it was problematic since it would disconnect from the Apple Home and be difficult to reconnect. Finally, it refused to charge and stopped working all together.
I wanted a doorbell where I didn’t have to pay to retain the images & that actually worked. I paid for the equipment and should not be at the mercy of the company for a subscription. The picture is great. The chime rings on my phone and on the house doorbell chimes. It does what it is supposed to do.

The video doorbell seems to be advanced more then the first one that came out plus the fact no monthly fee like other video doorbells plus the fact I personally like is the night light on the bottom of the doorbell for person detection great product best buy worth it for best security.

Was hoping it would have come with the view of "top to bottom" like the Ring I had for the same price. My Ring would show a person at the door to include the floor at entry. This will cut off around a foot and a half from the floor. So if a small package is left on your doormat, you probably won't see it. Mine is a double door, so you can just make out the one side, the other you can't at all
