Too expensive

I don't like how you have the date and time set up and it is not easy to navigate settings and understand. And it's too expensive.

Better than my old Ring!

better than our old Ring camera. Its very responsive and fast when the door bell is pressed and video and audio are great. It does a great job of detecting people vs plants moving.
One thing i wish they did better was include instructions on how to add this device to an existing Lorex NVR setup. I have a Lorex NVR with 4 wired IP cameras. I was able to find instructions from someone that figured out how to do it and love having this on my NVR setup as well.

So far this doorbell has met or exceeded my research notes I made before purchase. Definitely like the local storage rather than depending on Cloud Internet access.

Doesn't distinguish actions between motion and actual doorbell

This product doesn't distinguish between motion and actual doorbell when it comes to notifications. If you only want to be notified when someone is a calling at your front door - it doesn't perform. It's all or nothing. It should be a simple software modification, but here we are.

I originally had the ring and this is an upgrade let me tell you. Picture is clear, and I like how it light up when someone comes to my door. I like the different ring patterns. Nice. What’s really cool is how you can talk and see the person at the front door.

They work great upgraded to the 256 gig storage cards no monthly fee. My wife really likes the night light feature it’s great for when u walk up to the door and your looking for the door key at night

Very good hardware

The hardware is very good and the Lorex Home is ok. Initially I gave it a bad review bc I didn’t realize it could be used on two devices at the same time but it can be shared, which is a good way to have it on two devices. Overall, I’m happy.
