Better than Ring

Had the Ring Pro doorbell and recently switched to the Lorex to incorporate with my security cameras, and I am amazed at how much clearer the picture and sound quality is. I’m very pleased with the results of the upgrade.

Died in less than a year after installation

Work ok while it was alive. Sometimes I would not get notifications on my phone when the doorbell was pressed. Hard to hear through it. It died about 10 months after installation, but more than 12 months after I purchased it, so I'm out of luck.

No motion notifications

The doorbell has a great picture either day or night. It pushes notifications for person alert but doesn't push notifications for movement. It records movement on the timeline but doesn't push notifications. If I could get it it to push the movement notifications I'd give the doorbell 5 stars.

Installed on existing wiring - works good with exception of existing mechanical chime not functional. Other reviews I have looked at seem to have same problem.

It works

It works and hooks in great with the rest of the Lorex system. Just can’t get any notifications to my phone when someone rings the doorbell. Tech support leaves incomplete messages and is closed by the time I can call them. All this technology and can’t get an email.

Great product but…

I love the product, the app is very user friendly and the picture is pretty clear. The only issue I have is that when using the talking feature, there is a very loud ringing noise that makes it very difficult to hear the person you’re talking to.
