Doesn't link with the downloaded app and doesn't recognize my other lorex systems.
Has caused an outage of my lorex edge DVR , the 4k hd DVR still working, but not responding to the 2K lorex doorbell.
Tech assistance suggests get another newer DVR replacing the Edge sys. Get another router and a switch.
How about getting another video doorbell from another company.
Try to return and was disconnected from service.
Reminds me of the old Sky Bell systems always an excuse.

Not as easy as I expected

I thought this would be easy, unplug the button and connect the video doorbell. I’m having troubles with compatibility of my chime and getting otherwise weird results. I’m very handy and this should be a 15 minute job but I have hours of trouble shooting and I still don’t have it working. I might return it. BTW customer service support has been very friendly and helpful, and that’s the only reason for the 2 stars.

Install could be better explained

We upgraded from the wired 1080p to this 2k lorex doorbell. Great quality, although all plastic. Putting together the base was a bit confusing and had to re do it a couple of times. Setting up the wifi was a simple process with voice commands from the unit. The instructions insert needed to be a little bit more detailed as the pictures were somewhat confusing to me. Overall a great product. No monthly charges for storage and the app works great. Love Lorex?
