Works like a charm, easy set up

I had been looking for a doorbell solution but my entry way is small and it needed to be installed where the old doorbell was for the wiring (at right angle to door opening). With the "horizontal angled base bracket" it can sense someone walking up to the door and I can clearly see them on the porch. Everyone at home can also see who's at the door with the phone APP. Another great LOREX product.

Easy to install with brief

Easy to install with brief instruction book included but have to go to Lorex website to learn how to use the many features such as choice and volume of ring sounds. Default settings too loud and shrill.

Nice camera but aperture is too hot often and whites out picture. Also, camera runs hot to touch.

I used to have SimpliSafe doorbell camera. I wasn’t happy with quality and reliability of their cameras so I switched to this and I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER with the decision. No more monthly fees, quality and features are 10X better so is the reliability!

Really good

I ordered a full Lorex fusion NVR system to replace an Arlo system I have and the doorbell arrived first. After learning I could install and set up the doorbell stand-alone I did so and I’ve been very pleasantly surprised. The Arlo system relies on a hub and the signal is just not strong enough to get through my walls, which has resulted in very choppy and inconsistent performance. The Lorex, by comparison, is snappy and responsive out of the box. The image quality is great for 2k and the included micro SD card allows for local storage which is faster and no fees. Really nice product, can’t wait for the rest of the POE system to arrive.

Excellent Video Doorbells!

Clear image, local storage, remote access, supports RTSP streaming, no recurring extortion fees, works with my existing mechanical chime. I now own 2 video doorbells and 2 interior cams.
