The entire process was as explained in the great video install tutorials, from there it was 1, 2, 3 done- The mobile app was easy to configure and the entire system was connected an working.

Lorex 2k video doorbell

Everything works fine. You do not have to disconnect the wires in your current chime to install the Lorex product as the instructions state. Just loosen the screws and attach the new one. Other than that, it was fairly easy to install.

Like the doorbell. Sad Lorex cannot provide a compatible chime to go with it!! Poor engineering and planning.

Wired doorbell does not mean POE. It just means powered by old doorbell transformers.
