After having been a ring doorbell owner for a few years upon moving to my new home I decided to go with a different quality product and I chose this Lorex 2K wired doorbell. I have had some difficulty with the chime getting my mechanical doorbell come to work however the doorbell itself the app and the video quality as well as the record length having its own internal memory is just fantastic I would highly recommend this product to anyone considering purchasing it

Easy installation

Worked as described. Easy installation. I have tried other door bell and had to install digital chime box but did not work for me. So when I found out lorex has a door bell that can work with my original mechanical door chime on the wall I was so excited. Now I don't have to worried about delays or missing out package. I can get visual detection when people walking up to my door way and hear the actual door bell rings. Installation was easy as video described. We are planning to get more products from lorex. We would recommend this product to everyone.

I had one of your very first generation doorbell camers, but was very basic. This offers much better features to capture better video.

Good Doorbell, lots of features, but....

Doorbell was easy to setup; instructions were well written. I really like the alarm and playback features.
Video and wide angle are great.
I have a Lorex 4K Camera system also, doorbell works great with this app. Good Doorbell, lots of features, but doorbell will not alert phone when button is pressed, will sound house chime and doorbell chime.
Alerts are sent to phone by motion detection only. I talked to Lorex about a software upgrade to provide push button alerts, I was told that was not in the works.
That why I gave it 4 stars, this would be a great doorbell if it had that added feature.

Wired Video Doorbell Camera

Talked to a representative letting them know I wanted a doorbell type system that wired to the server and not Wi-Fi. They gave me this unit. It is wired but to your current doorbell system for power and connects by Wi-Fi. Not what I asked for.
