We loved this kettle but it lasted 8 months then broke for no reason. We took extremely good care of it. Horrible quality for an extremely expensive kettle. Do not buy.

Fantastic purchase

Easily one of the best purchases I’ve made in a while. After probably too much research I went with the oxo electric kettle and I’m very happy with it. The simple dial and ease of use, the smooth flowing gooseneck, and the ergonomic handle with nice grip all make for a nice experience while brewing my tea. I’m not a coffee pour over snob or a tea enthusiast but having a kettle that gets hot water fast and keeps it at temp for 30 minutes is very convenient for the amount of tea I drink. Highly recommend.

As a tea lover, this kettle gets me. The option to adjust the water's temperature is the best feature. It keeps your water at that temp for a while before automatically turning off. I like the sleek design and use it multiple times every single day. It would be cool to see this in other colors/metals, but the silver is a classic.

Love this kettle. Solid ergonomics and design. The single, multi-function button keeps everything simple and easy to use. Super fast boil also a nice feature, and cost saver. I researched the whole pour-over kettle market, and think I bought the best out there.

Love the product, first one failed at 3. 5 years

This is a great kettle particularly if you are a coffee nerd who does a true bloom pour, the timer function is a nice feature that I use all the time. The kettle has a nice form factor on the counter and feels like a great quality unit. It is a decent size, but if you’re doing a larger chemex you might need backup.
The only reason I have it four stars is because at 3. 5 years, my kettle failed and I had to replace it. I got the same one because I like it so much. But these are simple components and should last longer than that. I’m hoping this one stands the test of time.

I welcome the Big improvement in the way you fasten the handle to the kettle! This one works fine, though it seems a bit noisier as the water reaches the boiling point.
