[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros -Ergonomic design. Looks nice on the counter, keeps water temperature in several different ranges for green teas vs herbal tea vs coffee. . . etc
Cons- Lid and seals can leak and drip water during pouring.
Overall a good and reliable kettle. Kettle needs regular rescaling for optimal function. .

It’s simple to operate and quick to consistently heat to the desired temperature for my pour over coffee. I like mine so much that I’ve even given one as a gift.

More expensive, lower quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Oxo adjustable temperature kettle. I bought my first one about five years ago, and loved it. Alas, it stopped keeping accurate temperature, often bringing the water to boil no matter the setting, with the display bouncing all over the place. It was out of warranty so I had to buy a new one. I am wishing I’d looked elsewhere. Despite being more expensive by a good amount now, the new kettle is noticeably lower quality. The first thing you’ll notice is the handle, which is thinner and now attached with rivets and a thin plate rather than being welded on. Then you’ll notice that the lid takes work to get it on and off and makes a ping like a cheap cookie tin. The build in general is less substantial. I confirmed by weighing, with the new one 1-1/2 ounces (about 17%) lighter. Finally, there’s the issue of the lighter kettle catching on the base when you pick it up, taking the base up with it for a sec before it releases and crashes back to the counter. The people who are rating this model highly likely never had an older one. The new version just doesn’t compare.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So happy with this kettle - never want to be without one! Heats quickly and has the dial for different temp settings. Happy with the materials; feel of the handle is smooth but doesn’t slip. Pour spout allows for good flow control.
Of course it does require gentle cleaning care (esp. internally). I’m mindful of not too rough handling/dropping or the seal where the spout connects to the base will be compromised and leak. Also, overfilling causes spillage but there’s a max line indicator inside to help prevent this.

I like that this machine tracks how hot the water is which is helping to see! For years I’ve used a tea kettle on the stove but this one measures temperature which is an added bonus!
