The best kettle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this kettle. It is my daily kettle for tea and coffee now. This kettle allows me to really control my pouring while brewing pour over coffee, and its ability to maintain the temperature it is set at, during pouring when placed back on the base, is a wonderful feature.

Good travel grinder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this grinder. I use it when traveling and camping. The stainless steel burr makes quick work of even very light roasted coffees. Build quality of the chamber and handle could be a bit better but gets the job done. Would recommend this.

Love this kettle, it’s just what I needed. It doesn’t have plastic on the inside of the kettle which was my main goal in switching out kettles. The pour spout never leaks or dribbles and as a bonus, it keeps water at temp for like half an hour after you boil it. I did a ton of research and I feel that this was the best option for the price by far.

Maybe I got a defective one?

I really want to give this kettle a 5 star rating. It heats up very, very quickly. The temp setting dial and push functions are intuitive and the design of the kettle is pretty sleek. That said, I have had 2 issues arise in the month I have owned this kettle. The first is that the kettles heating element (not the vents on the lid) has begun to make a very loud, low-pitched whine when heating up. It didn't make that noise when we first received it and it begins almost immediately, well before the water begins to boil, when we turn the kettle on. The second, and most alarming is that there a been a couple times when the kettle will keep powering the heating element even when it is on the "off" setting (no light). The kettle will continue to power the heating element with or without water at what seems to be max power, it's impossible to tell because the kettle base is "off" but the water boils over continuously unless I physically unplug the kettle. If I plug it back in and it is still in the "off" setting (no dial light) sometimes the kettle will begin to boil water again with no way to stop it other than unplugging it. Pretty bummed as this is a very nice kettle but not worth keeping due to the fact it is a real fire hazard.
