Atom X is a great OTC solution

I have been using the hearing aids for two days now. This is my second pair of hearing aids so I have a point of reference on how the Atom X compares. Overall, I find the Atom X to be far easier to manage than my previous hearing aids. The Atom X does not have as many customized features as my older hearing aids but it does the job quite well and I have resolved the issues with a behind the ear hearing aid that constantly got in the way of glasses. The controls on the Atom X are straight forward and deliver the adjustments that different environments demand. The bluetooth capabilities enabling streaming from my phone and handling phone calls is a must from my perspective and was one of the primary requirements that I had in looking at OTC hearing aid options. It is surprising how few OTC hearing aids actually offer bluetooth as a standard feature. So far, I am very satisfied with the performance of the Atom X and feel that it is providing a level of performance that is as effective as my previous hearing aids that cost eight times as much.

Poor battery life

The battery will not even last me thru a full shift at work. If use Bluetooth best I've gotten is about 5hrs.

Shawkey did an outstanding job helping me with my husband’s hearing aids that had a problem with one that wouldn’t change. He worked with me to troubleshoot and offered me multiple solutions from getting parts to replacing them at a discounted price. I ended up upgrading them. He then gave me directions on how to use additional parts from the new set to try on the existing set and to call back for help with doing that. Wow!
He took his time and worked with me as if I was his friend. He was very polite and professional.
If I ever have to call back, I hope I get to speak with Shawkey again. He’s a real treasure to Audien.

I tried the Atom Pro 2 hearing devices and they did not work very well for my situation. Julian advised me to try the Ion model. He was very thorough and thinks this other model will work best for me. Thank you Julian for your kindness and thoughtful way in dealing with my situation.
