Atom X Performance Using One Hearing Aid

This is my second set of hearing aids from Audien. I was so excited about the Atom X with the way changes could be made to the hearing aid in the charging case with the screen. It was so much easier than trying to make adjustments by pushing buttons on the hearing aid. However, I only need one hearing aid, and I was advised to not wear the other hearing aid in my good ear. This could possibly cause damage to my good ear. I am just not sold on the Atom X because no matter what mode nor the volume percentage I select, I cannot hear out of that ear. I was advised to see an audiologist.

I bought these, but needed something stronger. Upgrading to the Atom Pro 2 was the right choice for me.
The assistance I got in ensuring they did not connect to blue tooth when I didn't want them too was very helpful (or I would have returned them).

I found Arnel easy to talk to and responsive to my concerns. I came away with a clear direction as to how to proceed with getting used to the hearing aids and options I have if I need a different model that will fit better in my ear.

I accidentally bought this; I don't really need hearing assistance yet, I was just looking at options. I am on a very fixed income and the purchase has put a strain on me. My hearing is not yet at the point that I need hearing assistance right now, according to the specialist, but will be so in 2-3 years. At that time, I'll probably come back to Audien.
