Empliny patiently explained things.

The hearing specialist Empliny was VERY patient throughout her consultation. She gave detailed answers to my questions about my new Audien Atom X.
I had followed the printed insertion directions + photo p.10. I had put the word TOP on top. The R or L dot faces forward upon insertion. So Empliny said I had inserted the aids incorrectly.
She said the 3 gold dots go on top, the word TOP faces forward. The R or L dot faces down upon insertion. The antenna pull wire is at the base of the ear opening.

Her instructions do not match the photo on p. 10. I suggest the Audien company rework these directions to be clearer.
I like that the charging case has a control screen and cleans the aids.

I bought these a month ago and tried to set them up..they didn’t work the way I wanted them too. I became frustrated. I set up a phone interview and within minutes felt comfortable and confident with the instructions I received. I not only received excellent information, but reassurance that help was there if I needed it.

I have tried 3 of the Audien Hearing aids. They didn't help with my hearing, because I have severe hearing loss in my right ear.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased the AtomX and liked the ease and availability. The modle was a little larger than I anticipated but was able to trde up for the Ion Pro 2.
