Hearing Specialist

I purchased the Atom X about a month ago and have experimented with various buds and control settings. I waited to have the free hearing specialist appointment so that I could present the minor problems that I discovered. Carlos was very helpful in explaining and resolving the issues I experienced.

Didn't work for us.

I purchased these for my husband to see if they would be helpful to him. He did not like the fact that all they do is amplify sounds so everything around him was louder, but not clear and normal. Also, there was a great deal of screeching, and every time he tried to adjust them, it affected the volume on the end of the device.He has since had an audiology test which confirmed that the type of hearing loss he has would not be something that the Audien hearing devices could help. I decided to return them and was told I had to visit with a person via video. Call to see if they could "correct any issues". We had to call this morning and I was very pleased that the collar did not try to change our mind and said he completely understood. So we are moving forward with our return and we do thank them for being so understanding.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
