Whistling solution

Good understanding of whistling issue. Excellent guidance on placement of aids. Agreed there should be no whistling after aids are placed in ear. Because they are whistling with the different domes supplied, she will send smaller domes. Our trial period will b extended for 45 days after receiving smaller domes. Much appreciated.

The conversation with the a person after purchase adds a nice touch to the hearing aid purchase. The person I spoke with was highly professional and quite help in understanding some of the quirks with the app. Recommend that everyone takes the time to speak with one of the reps. I’ve had hearing aids for years yet told me things I didn’t know. Good job. In addition I had a terrific encounter with their support. The follow-up was second to none.

Nice, but not for me

The Atom X has some nice features, but it was not for me. It was first of all too large for my ears. They were actually painful to wear. In addition, the sound quality left a lot to be desired. The sound was very "tinny" with mechanical sounds (i.e. like tapping on a table) much louder than voices or music.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing how much I can hear now!

So happy I purchased these hearing aids. It was amazing how much I was able to hear. I didn't know what I had been missing. My appointment with my hearing aid specialist was thorough, and I found out I had been wearing them wrong getting a whistling/static sound. Once I put them in correctly, the clarity was a vast improvement. I'm still getting used to wearing them and allowing my brain to process the sounds, but I have a plan that the hearing aid specialist advised to help with the transition of wearing them regularly in a variety of environments.
